Sometimes it can be difficult to motivate yourself to workout. Personal training is a good way to make sure you don’t skip a workout, a date in your diary is harder to bail on.

All personal training comes with a plan that you can use on your own in the gym, whenever you want. With each client, I plan with the upmost consideration of limitations and deliver workouts to get you to your goals quicker.

Complimentary to your sessions with me at the Gym Exeter Marsh Barton, I will provide you with free readings on the FitQuest machine so that you can see a detailed progress report on body composition. Additionally, sessions come with a lifting spreadsheet so you can see the gains! I’m always adding a MyFitnessPal buddy! I’m full of recommendations when it comes to adjusting your diet, but not too drastically so it fits with your life. Techniques important at the gym, I’d love to help you build confidence and knowledge in this area.

I first started doing outdoor personal training sessions in the first lockdown in Alphington. During Covid, all sessions are socially distanced, all equipment is cleaned with antibac before and after sessions and I wear a mask. I still provide outdoor sessions out of lockdown. Being outside provides additional health benefits such as reducing stress, helps with getting enough vitamin D and improves sleep. Cowick Barton Playing Fields is a great location to get your dips and pull ups in.

Have you considered home and outdoor pt to build self confidence, before entering the gym itself? Going to the gym can make you feel like everyone is watching you. Home sessions might be the perfect stepping stone.

Online coaching is much more affordable and one of the best options if you have the self motivation to get yourself fit without so much help. Monthly check ins are a great opportunity to get some more pointers and to discuss if you’re heading in the right direction.
